Two investor companies of NCIZ’s portfolio awarded with "Investor of the Year"
Two investors in sites, managed by the National Company Industrial Zones EAD, have been awarded at the 19th annual Investor of the Year Awards. The ceremony was organized by the Bulgarian Investment Agency.
The company “Smart Solar Technologies” AD, which invested BGN 240 million in a plant for solar panels and cells in the Industrial Zone “Zagore”, is the winner in the category “Investment in green”. The Minister of Economy and Industry Petar Dilov awarded the company with a “Golden Bull”, received by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Khalil Demirdak.
The plant will be built in the industrial zone near the village of Elenino, in which the shareholders are National Company of Industrial Zones and Stara Zagora Municipality. The project is expected to open 812 jobs.
“Bulpharma” OOD, which purchased a site from NCIZ near Plovdiv in 2022, was awarded in the category “Sustainable Business”. The company has over 28 years of history and has been implementing projects in the fields of healthcare and construction.
Minister Dilov thanked the investors who had appreciated our country as a promising location for business and investment, saying: “In the face of the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the National Company Industrial Zones within its structure, the business can always find a reliable partner”.
