The NCIZ presented its zones to the Hungarian Ambassador
NCIZ’s Executive Director Antoaneta Bares met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Bulgaria Tekla Harangozo. Victoria Kadar, the first economic and trade advisor, was also at the working meeting at the company's office, where the company’s industrial zones were represented.
During the meeting were presented the projects of National Company Industrial Zones which deals with the design, development and management of industrial, economic and free zones. Antoaneta Bares and Tekla Harangozo discussed promoting investment initiatives in various fields. They agreed to cooperate in the exchange of good practices for creation of favorable investment climate.
It was noted at the meeting that “Sofia-Bozhurishte Economic Zone” is a priority project of the NCIZ, and its location is extremely convenient – 15 km to the center of Sofia, 23 km to the Sofia International Airport, 5 km from the highway to Greece, and 2 km from the highway to Serbia. It has become clear that this zone has already attracted 32 investors in a number of sectors, including automotive industry, high technology, warehousing and logistics. Currently, companies from the European countries – Bulgaria, Germany, Denmark, Greece and Turkey – operate there.
The Hungarian diplomats also received information about NCIZ’s zones in Burgas, Varna, Vidin, Ruse, Svilengrad as well as for the projects in initial development state.
