The Golden heart Award was handed to the executive director of National Company Industrial Zones PLC

The executive director of National Company Industrial Zones PLC Mrs Antoaneta Bares received the Golden heart Award at a special ceremony of the 4th Annual Awards for charity and corporate social responsibility of the Business Lady Magazine.

Mrs Bares received an award in the category ‘’Education, training and development’’ for the Fast Tracking Success project about the accelerated professional preparation of young professionals.

 The program about the career development was her initiative and its implementation was achieved through the partnership with some leading universities in the country

The aim of the project is to create proper conditions for accelerated professional preparation of those young people who graduate university. NCIZ will support them by offering a range of opportunities for permanent employment and internships in companies, co-operating with the National company. The program connects investors in Bulgaria with some of the top universities and students who are graduating or will soon graduate, as it gives the youth an opportunity for internships and permanent job in firms, working with NCIZ.

The President of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry- Tsvetan Simeonov handed the Golden heart Award to Antoaneta Bares.

At the ceremony the executive director showed her gratitude to the whole team of NCIZ and the Ministry of Economy for their support, as well as to the partners of the company, as she emphasized the importance of the already established partnership without which the accomplished results would not be possible. She mentioned that the purpose of the initiative is to support the present investors as well as some new ones who are working in the industrial zones. The aim is to solve one of the most challenging issues- the supply of qualified workers.

 

Among the partners of NCIZ that recently took part in the initiative are Sofia University, the Technical University, New Bulgarian University, the University for National and World Economy, the University of Forestry. Mrs Bares intends to achieve wide-spread initiative all over the whole country.

The initiative might continue its development at the next stage but this time with new partners as more universities will take part. NCIZ intends to collaborate with professional high schools at a further stage of the project.

Officials, politicians, diplomats, representatives from the business sector, from diverse public, non-government and private organizations and institutions attended the ceremony of the 4th edition of the Annual Awards Golden heart for charity and corporate social responsibility.

At the Christmas Eve 22 charity projects and social initiatives in 10 different categories have received acknowledgement.

Daniel Dimitrov, executive director and publisher of Business Lady Magazine, showed his gratitude to those who have received the award and made an appeal to the Bulgarian mass media to put their focus on the positive news and initiatives.

“The charity should not be anonymous, it should be talked about and a good example to be given, so that it will be turned into a part of the business values. We all are witnesses of the negative news in our country and around the world, but only a few of us are aware about those who do good every day’’, added Mr Dimitrov.

Among the awarded projects were the “Window to the homeland’’ broadcasted on BNT, ‘’The change’’ on Nova TV, the initiative for keeping the patriotism and self-consciousness of the Bulgarian nation alive on Focus Radio, the campaigns ‘’Credissimo and the champions of Bulgaria – Together we are first’’, ‘’You and Lidl- together for a better life’’, the initiatives of Postbank ‘’Heroes in green’’, those of DM Bulgaria “Happy teeth 2017’’ and Fibank- ‘’Actors with good hearts’’ etc.

The aim of the Golden heart awards by Business Lady Magazine is to generate publicity about the efforts of the company, about the NGO organizations, the institutions and all of the participants that have supported different initiatives with social value as in this way a good example would be given and even more companies and people will be encouraged to take part in that kind of projects.
