The Chair of the Board of Directors of NCIZ took part in the opening of Zagore-Elenino
The chair of the NCIZ’s Board of Directors A. Yankova took part in the official opening of Zagore-Elenino Industrial Park – the 2nd stage of Zagore Industrial Zone development. Zagore-Elenino is of strategic importance for the attraction of new investments, new jobs creation and boosting the export potential of Stara Zagora region.
The project was realized with the financial help of AttractInvestBG, the Public Support Programmer for the development of industrial regions, parks and similar territories and for attraction of investments, allocating grants for nearly 7,1 million euros.
The new industrial park was opened by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Investment and Industry Krasimir Yakimov, who defined the enlargement of the state industrial zone as an extremely important infrastructural project for the region of Stara Zagora. He noted that the results of the development are already visible, with large part of the plots already being occupied and investment intentions amounting to nearly 300 million euros, resulting into over 1300 job openings.
Larter the day Ms. Yankova attended the official groundbreaking ceremony of the first plant in Bulgaria for high-tech manufacturing of vanadium reduce-flow batteries, to be built on the territory of the park.
