Participation of NCIZ in a business delegation to Jordan
Mr. Nikolay Tsenkov, Chairman of the Board of Directors of National Company Industrial Zones PLC, took part in a business delegation to Amman, Jordan from Oct. 30th till Nov. 4th 2015. A Bulgarian-Jordanian business forum was held on Nov. 1st in Amman. Among the participants on the Bulgarian side were Mrs. Dora Irikova, councilor to the Minister of Economy and Mr. Nikola Stoyanov, deputy executive director of the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA). Twenty-four Bulgarian companies from the sectors machine-building, electronics and electrical engineering etc. were represented in the business forum.
The first large-scale Bulgarian-Jordanian investment project – that of “Parvomai-BT” AD and a Jordanian tobacco processing company, was officially inaugurated in a newly opened industrial zone by the Minister of industry, trade and supply of Jordan and Mrs. Dora Irikova, councilor to the Minister of Economy of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Mr. Tsenkov presented NCIZ’s projects to Jordanian companies within the business forum, with particular investment interest being expressed towards Industrial & Logistics Park Burgas.
During the business mission, a draft Memorandum of Cooperation was presented to National Company Industrial Zones by Al Muwaqar Industrial Estate.
