Official ceremony on the occasion of signing a Memorandum of Intent between NCIZ and JYSK BUL
NCIZ’s executive director Mr. Stefan Staykov and the chairman of NCIZ’s Board of Directors Mr. Nikolay Tsenkov took part in an official ceremony on the occasion of signing a Memorandum of Intent between NCIZ and JYSK BUL. By signing this document, the Danish company expresses its willingness to implement a large-scale investment project – the construction of a distribution centre which will be located in Sofia – Bozhurishte Economic Zone and will supply the majority of the company’s stores in Central and Eastern Europe. Approximately 200 new jobs are expected to be created through this investment.
The ceremony took place in the Council of Ministers. The Memorandum was signed by JYSK’s executive vice president logistics Mr. Allan Kjærgaard and Mr. Stefan Staykov, followed by congratulatory addresses by H.E. Mr. Christian Kønigsfeldt, ambassador of the Kingdom of Denmark in Bulgaria, the chairman of NCIZ’s Board of Directors Mr. Nikolay Tsenkov, the minister of economy Mr. Bojidar Loukarsky and the deputy prime minister for EU funds and economic policies Mr. Tomislav Donchev.
Among the official guests were representatives of Sofia Municipality, Sofia City Council, Bozhurishte Municipality and the Invest Bulgaria Agency.
