NCIZ TOOK PART IN BULGARIAN-KOREAN SEMINAR ON KNOWLEDGE SHARING PROGRAM
On June 8th, 2022, in Industrial Park Sofia – Bozhuriste was held a Workshop on project “Strategic Transformation in to Innovative and Digital Industrial Parks in Bulgaria”, which NCIZ EAD implements under the Knowledge Sharing Program (KSP) 2021/22, participating in it together with the Ministry of Economy and Industry of Bulgaria, the Korea Development Institute (KDI) and the South Korean Ministry of Economy and Finance.
The seminar was opened by the Former Minister of Economy and Knowledge of Republic of Korea, Mr. Joong-Kyung Choi. From Bulgarian side the participants were greeted by the Executive Director of NCIZ, Mr. Petko Nikolov, PhD, who emphasized the importance of using innovative and digital technologies to increase the potential of industrial zones and parks in Bulgaria and the significance of sharing the Korean experience and good practices in this area.
The following topics were discussed during the seminar:
- Development of Innovative and Digital Industrial Park Model;
- Development of Cooperative Mechanism for Strengthening the Innovative and Digital Capabilities of All Participants/organizations in Industrial Parks;
- Establishment of Newly Developed Incubator Ecosystem using Innovative and Digital Technologies in Industrial Parks.
The event was attended by Mr. Jeljaz Enev, Director of the Economic Policy Directorate at the Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Executive Director of the Bulgarian Investment Agency, Mr. Bogdan Bogdanov.
