NCIZ presents its digital hub project at tech-conference
The “National Company Industrial Zones” EAD presented its project for a digital hub at the Fourth National Conference “Information Technology and Automation” - 2025, dedicated to students, undergraduates and postgraduates.
The event, held under the patronage of President Rumen Radev, took place from 15 to 17 April at the University of Chemical Technology and Metallurgy in Sofia. Students from different parts of the country presented their projects on various topics in the field of IT, AI, Digital Technologies, Mathematics, Smart Technologies, 3D Modelling and others.
The participants were introduced to the work and activities of NCIZ and company's latest project for construction of a Regional Centre for Digital Solutions and Innovations at the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park. The Project is worth over BGN 6 million, the funds being provided under "Research, Innovation and Digitalization for Smart Transformation” Programme. The implementation of the project will lead to the creation of an innovative digital infrastructure to serve the investor companies at the Park, as well as entrepreneurs, researchers, scientists, regional administration and citizens. The creation of a VR laboratory will provide users with 3D laser visualisation of buildings, machines and new products before their launch on the market – the so-called testing before investing.
The project will stimulate innovation and implementation of new technologies in the work process by increasing the technological potential of companies through digital services.
