NCIZ presented the investment advantages of its zones at an Economic Forum in Bordeaux
The National Company Industrial Zones EAD (NCIZ) presented the opportunities for investment in the state industrial zones during an economic forum dedicated to Bulgaria. The event took place on 30 January 2026 at the prestigious Bordeaux City Hall and was organized by the Bordeaux Bar Association, Bordeaux City Hall, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in France, and the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIFB), bringing together representatives of business, institutions, investors, and professional organizations.
The event was opened by officials, including the President of the Bordeaux Bar Association, H.E. Radka Balabanova, Bulgarian Ambassador to France, and representatives of the Municipality of Bordeaux and Invest in Bordeaux. At the forum, Ms Yana Mladenova, Director of the Business Development and Projects Directorate at the NCIZ, presented the advantages of the industrial zones, managed by the state-owned company, stressing on their readiness to attract strategic investments, on the developed infrastructure available and on the institutional support for investors.

She took part in the discussions on the investment potential in the field of perfumery and food industry, with a particular focus on winemaking, together with representatives from Bessa Valley Winery, and presented the NCIZ industrial parks as an ideal location for future “Success Stories“ of the French business.
Special attention was put on Bulgaria’s competitive advantages for investors: the lowest corporate tax in EU of 10%, VAT discounts for large investment projects, specific incentive measures and stimuli, which the French business can benefit from when investing in Bulgaria. Particular attention was paid to the new prospects for investors after Bulgaria’s accession to the Eurozone and Schengen, providing higher economic stability, predictability, as well as easier access to the single European market and significant easing of logistics and financial processes.
During the forum, Ms. Mladenova contacted potential partners, chambers of commerce and trade associations, discussing the potential opportunities for cooperation and realization of specific investment projects in the industrial zones, managed by NCIZ.
