NCIZ participates in a seminar for support of entrepreneurs and SMEs under the INTERREG V-A Greece-Bulgaria Programme 2014-2020 in Kardzhali
Representatives of the “National Company Industrial Zones” EAD /NCIZ/ took part in a seminar on "Opportunities for support of entrepreneurs and SMEs", organized in the period 10 - 11 February 2023 within the framework of the cross-border project "Promoting entrepreneurship by supporting innovative ideas through pre-incubation mechanisms" under the INTERREG V-A "Greece-Bulgaria" Programme 2014-2020, which was held in the building of the Regional Administration in the town of Kardzhali.
The seminar was opened by Assoc. Prof. Todor Yalamov, PhD, vice-dean of the Faculty of Economics at the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski”, who presented the theme “Serial Entrepreneurship and International Trade: Lessons Learned from Lean Management" in the context of the Bulgaria’s National Innovation and Startup Ecosystem.
Presentations on entrepreneurship, international trade and partnership were also given by Mr. Venislav Emilov, expert from the Association for the Promotion of Agricultural Cooperation between China and the CEE Countries /APACCCEEC/, Mr. Lachezar Dinev, Chairman of the Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Mr. Nasko Nastev, Chairman of the Kardzhali Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The project will provide training for young entrepreneurs, with the main objective of developing a pre-incubation strategy for entrepreneurship based on consultation with local stakeholders and empirical fieldwork, using existing international methodologies. Upcoming project activities include conducting communication campaigns, participating in roundtables, organising and participating in master classes, etc.
The workshop was jointly organized by the APACCCEEC, the Faculty of Economics of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski", the "National Company Industrial Zones" EAD, Bulgarian-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry, National Agricultural Advisory Service and Kardzhali Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
