NCIZ has been assigned as a National Contact Point of the World Free Zones Organization

The World Free Zones Organization (WFZO) and the National Company Industrial Zones (NCIZ) signed an Agreement assigning the NCIZ as a National Contact Point, a position that is responsible for the information exchange between the WFZO and the free zones’ ecosystem units throughout the country.

The document was signed by Dr. Samir Hamrouni and Antoaneta Bares, the Executive Directors of the two organizations, after a meeting in the Municipality of Pirot. The event was also attended by the mayor of Pirot Vladan Vasic, Chairman of the Board of Directors of WFZO Dr. Mohamed Alzaruni, Executive Director of Free Zone Pirot Dragan Kostic and representatives of the Pirot Chamber of Commerce.

The topic of the discussion was the future cooperation in the development of the concept of free zones in the 21st century, as well as gaining and sharing of experience and good practices in all issues concerning free and industrial zones.

Antoaneta Bares was also an official guest at the opening of a Regional Office of the WFZO in Pirot. During the discussions, the Executive Director of the NCIZ presented the activities of the national company, the advantages of the state-owned industrial zones in Bulgaria, as well as the investment opportunities in the country.
