NCIZ and the Academy of Economics in Svishtov signed a memorandum for cooperation
The Dimitar A. Cenov Academy of Economics in Svishtov joined the group of universities, which the NCIZ have become partners with for working on the project Fast Tracking Success.
The executive director of the NCIZ - Antoaneta Bares and the head of the university Mr. Ivan Marchevski signed a memorandum for cooperation on 1 June. Both parties came to the agreement to support each other in preparing and giving a chance to the young people, who have gone through the educational courses of the academy, to demonstrate their skills by giving them the opportunity to attend professional internships or offering them permanent work positions in companies which work closely with NCIZ.
The main aim of this partnership between NCIZ and the Industrial academy is to overcome the youth unemployment and labour shortage among some qualified young people in some of the key sectors.
The purpose of the initiative by NCIZ - Fast Tracking Success was to support some present investors as well as some new ones in the public industrial zones and in this way the challenge-the shortage of qualified specialists that the investment projects face, will be overcome.
Up to this moment, NCIZ has signed memorandums for cooperation with a lot of universities in the whole country, among which are the Sofia University, University for National and World Economics, New Bulgarian University, Univercity of Forestry, Todor Kableshkov University of Transport, The University of Ruse Angel Kunchev, The University of Shumen Episkop Konstantin Preslavski etc.
In April this year one professional high school - The Professional High school for transport and energetics Henry Ford in Sofia took part in the project Fast Tracking Success.
In the zones included in the portfolio of the NCIZ there are some already working factories, storage spaces, logistic centers, high-tech business firms from Germany, Greece, Denmark, Austria, Turkey and Israel as well as some that are about to be built.
The total sum of all of the negotiated investments in the industrial zones from the very first beginning until now exceeds 410 million leva, there are over 2100 new work positions and more than 130 Bulgarian and foreign firms – investors and people, who have leases over different industrial areas, have received support for further development of their businesses.
