Minister Dilov: our priority are the developed industrial zones that attract new high-tech investments

Negotiations are underway to open investments worth BGN 45 million in the industrial zones managed by NCIZ
The development of industrial zones and the construction of the necessary infrastructure is our priority in order to attract new high-tech investments in Bulgaria - this was stated by the Minister of Economy and Industry Petar Dilov, who held a meeting with the Executive Director of the “National Company Industrial Zones” EAD (NCIZ) Angel Tanev at the Ministry of Economy and Industry. They discussed the development of the industrial zones within the NCIZ portfolio - an effective mechanism to attract investments in the country.
"In order to be effective in attracting investors, we need to build zones with ready infrastructure" Minister Dilov said. "What is important for us is that investors who are interested in Bulgaria, choose a suitable location for their business and have the necessary conditions to start their production as quickly as possible”. In turn, Mr. Tanev pointed out that the state-owned company has an active policy to attract business interest and is in an advanced stage of negotiations with investors in the sectors of automotive industry, food industry and construction, pharmaceuticals, production of high-tech products and equipment, warehousing and logistics, who intend to locate their production in the industrial zones.
The expected investments in these projects amount to more than BGN 45 million, the companies being Bulgarian, German, Spanish, Chinese and Turkish.
