Marking the completion of the first phase of infrastructure development of Sofia-Bozhurishte Economic Zone and presentation of new projects
The completion of the first stage of infrastructure development of Sofia-Bozhurishte Economic Zone was marked on Sept. 18th 2014 on the territory of the economic zone. The event was opened with keynote addresses by Mr. Vassil Shtonov, Minister of Economy and Energy, Mr. Doncho Barbalov, Deputy Mayor of Sofia Municipality and Mr. Asparuh Asparuhov, Mayor of the city of Bozhurishte.
National Company Industrial Zones PLC presented the infrastructure facilities, completed in the economic zone, as well as the new investment projects.
Sofa – Bozhurishte Economic Zone is one of the eight projects of National Company Industrial Zones PLC and is the largest-scale investment in a new economic zone in Bulgaria in recent years.
The construction work for the core infrastructure began in mid-2013. At present, the first stage of constructing the major infrastructure facilities has already been completed.
