Angel Tanev presents NCIZ at Balkan Business Forum
The Executive Director of National Company Industrial Zones EAD (NCIZ) Angel Tanev participated in the fifth edition of the Balkan Business Forum, which was held in Bansko and brought together representatives of business, industry, investors and institutions from all over the region.
The event is organized by the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BULTISAD) in partnership with the Bulgarian-Romanian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria, the Council for Foreign Economic Relations of Turkey (DEİK), the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises and the Bulgarian Investment Agency.
The forum was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Alexander Pulev and Deputy Minister of Economy, Investments and Industry Krasimir Yakimov.
The Balkan Business Forum provides a platform for promoting investments, developing industrial cooperation and expanding business contacts in the region. Within the framework of the event, discussion panels, bilateral business meetings and initiatives for the creation of new partnerships between companies and institutions from the Balkans are held.
Among the main topics of the forum are the development of transport and logistics connectivity, industrial ecosystems, technologies and artificial intelligence as a factor for increasing competitiveness, as well as the opportunities for deepening economic cooperation between the countries in the region.
"Bulgaria is in a particularly favorable position on the map. Our location at the crossroads between Europe, the Middle East and Asia creates serious prerequisites for attracting investments in manufacturing, logistics and high-tech industries. We see the greatest potential for development in the regions that offer good transport connectivity with European transport corridors, ports along the Black Sea, the Danube River and international airports," said Angel Tanev in the panel "Transport, Logistics and Industrial Ecosystems".
The participation of NCIZ in the forum is part of the company's consistent efforts to attract new investments in Bulgaria and promote the opportunities that industrial zones offer to Bulgarian and international investors. During the event, Angel Tanev held meetings with representatives of the business and institutions, presenting the activities of NCIZ and the conditions for the development of high-tech and manufacturing investment projects in the country.
