Groundbreaking ceremony of a new production facility in Sofia – Bozhurishte Economic Zone
Mr. Stefan Staykov, Executive Director of "National Company Industrial Zones" JSC (NCIZ) and The Chairman of the Board of Directors Mr. Nikolay Tsenkov took part in groundbreaking ceremony of a new production facility in Sofia – Bozhurishte Economic Zone.
The amount of the investment is 36.775 million levs. On a territory of 20,000 square meters there will be built center production facilities, office and storage area. Multivac will create 153 jobs for skilled employees.
The investment project envisages construction of a high-tech enterprise for production of parts and components for packaging machines, including manufacturing building, warehouse and logistics base, a center for vocational education and training and office space. It will be revealed and center consulting and shared services in the field of information technology.
Among the official guests were Mr. Luben Petrov - Deputy Minister of Economy, Mr. Stamen Yanev - Executive Director of Bulgaria Invest Agency, Mr. Georgi Dimov - Mayor of Bozhurishte Municipality, Christian Trauman, manager of "Multivac", and Ivaylo Dimitrov, who manages the Bulgarian branch of the German company.
