Economical Trade Forum Bulgaria – China (Tianjin)
The economical trade forum Bulgaria – China (Tianjin) took place on July 1st 2013 at 9:30 in Sofia Hotel Balkan, and was organized by the Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency. “National Company Industrial Zones” PLC’s executive director Mr. Valeri Andreev held a presentation about the company’s activity and cooperation opportunities.
The event was held within the framework of the Chinese Tianjin delegation’s visitation at the invitation of the Ministry of Economy and Energy. The foreign delegation was headed by Mr. Li Fuming, director of the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of Tianjin Municipal People’s Government (SASAC).
The forum was opened by the minister of Economy and Energy Mr. Dragomir Stoynev. H.E. Mr. Guo Yezhou, the People’s Republic of China’s ambassador in Bulgaria delivered a welcoming speech. Among the participants in the event were representatives of about 40 Chinese companies in the following fields: agriculture and food industry, electronics and electrical engineering, metallurgy, power engineering, construction and real estate, trade and logistics.
During the forum NCIZ carried out beneficial bilateral meetings with Chinese companies and discussed specific investment intentions in Bulgaria on their part.
The city of Tianjin has a province statute and is one of the four cities that are under the direct administration of the Chinese government. It is famous with its particularly well-developed industry, agriculture and production base, as well as one of the biggest ports in the country and the special economic zone Binhai New Area.
