Angel Tanev: the Investment of Imelius will improve the logistics connectivity of the region

This is an investment which will not only improve the logistics connectivity of the region, but will also contribute for boosting the industrial potential of the Sofia region”, said the Executive Director of the NCIZ EAD Angel Tanev during a meeting of the Deputy Minister of Economy and Industry Nevena Lazarova with the Manager of Imelius Alexander Golomehov.
Last week was given the start to the building process of the new logistics site in the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park. The total amount of the investment is BGN 7 million.
According to the project, a warehousing facility will be constructed on a plot of 7530 sq. m., projected according to the latest European standards. The building will be equipped with energy efficiency systems, optimised logistics and sustainable resource management.
At the meeting Deputy Minister Lazarova pointed out that in the face both of the Ministry of Economy and Industry and NCIZ, the investors can rely on full support throughout all stages of their investment processes. She mentioned that the state industrial zones become more attractive to the business because they offer together with industrial plots, also a complex of services, facilitating the investment projects.
"NCIZ is negotiating with companies whose projects are in the pharmaceutical industry, production of high-tech products and equipment, food industry and data storage and they are expected to provide 120 new jobs -announced Lazarova - the recently announced construction of the Regional Centre for Digital Solutions and Innovations is another important step in attracting new investors to the Sofia-Bozhurishte Industrial Park and helping business in the process of digitalization”.
