We need to borrow good practices from Europe on how to develop industrial zones

“In the last several years the development of industrial zones is very good. For the first trimester of this year the foreign investments mark increase with 20%. Bulgaria is a good place to invest”, said Angel Tanev on “Business Start” of Bloomberg TV Bulgaria.

“Industrial Park Sofia-Bozhurishte attract stable interest from Italian and German investors. One of NCIZ’s priorities is to develop the periphery of its industrial zones - like Economic Zone Dobroslavtsi in terms of infrastructure. For this purpose, a permanent income must be generated”.

"Investors can choose between several locations in Bulgaria - plots in Vidin, Varna, Pleven, Kardzhali, etc. Vidin, for example, is a river port, and the nearby industrial park has the potential to attract investor interest."

"There are very well-developed industrial zones in Europe - in Germany, Italy, Turkey.... It is important for us to borrow useful practices - our ultimate goal is to develop all 13 state industrial parks in the country…. There is a project for developing high-tech manufacturing in Sofia’s Zapaden Park“.

"We compete with Greece by offering better conditions for investors - they are looking for the most favourable environment. .. Bulgaria is not directly affected by the complex geopolitical situation and this is appreciated".
